Please note that Travel South Yorkshire have provided the following update regarding accessing the Rotherham Real Ale & Music Festival.
The Tram Train service will run its usual Saturday service until 5:00pm, when it will be replaced by a bus replacement service. The bus replacement service should be accessed via the pedestrian entrance to Magna on Sheffield Road.
The last normal Trains will leave Magna at 5:20 towards Parkgate and 5:35 towards Sheffield city centre.
The bus replacement will provide a service to Magna every 30 minutes. The timetable can be accessed here. The final buses leave Magna at approximately 23:52 (towards Rotherham), and 23:53 (towards Sheffield).
The bus replacement service runs between Parkgate and Meadowhall South.
To catch the Tram-train to Magna please use the bus stop located on College Road (close to Rotherham Central Station, opposite the Panel Centre going towards Lidl).
Alternative ways of accessing Magna
The X3 service, running between Doncaster City Centre and Sheffield City Centre, will be running its normal timetable. Access this here
The final X3 services departing from Magna are scheduled to leave at 23:44 (towards Rotherham and Doncaster) and 23:42 (towards Sheffield).
